See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

A pub/diner on the old main road heading north from Cardiff, just 500 metres south of the M4 Junction 32. It retains something of the character of a local boozer but the emphasis now is more on inexpensive and very popular carvery meals. Apart from the carvery, the menu includes breakfasts, starters/snacks, sandwiches, vegetarian, kids menu, meal deals, and a gift cards scheme all rounded off with a list of tempting puddings. The bar has high-tabled seating while the lounge offers comfortable surroundings with a decor of soft colours. In addition there is a pleasant conservatory and an adjacent dining room. Entry for wheelchair users might be a bit tight at the main entrance but once inside there is a level surface and disabled WC. The real ales are competitively priced and are joined by a guest ale, usually Sharp's Doom Bar. Additional info: The nearest railway station is Coryton not Cardiff as stated in WhatPub. Disabled access needs to be reviewed as the main entrance seems too tight for independent wheelchair users
