This pub near the Castle with a circular exterior has had a refurbishment which has seen the cask ale offering increase. Five handpumps now dispense beers from mainly Welsh micros. There is a large bar and plenty of seating. There is an outdoor seating area at the front of the pub and there is a function room upstairs. Several TVs show the latest sporting action It gets particularly busy in here when Wales are playing. Currently closed for refurbishment. Re-opening expected by the end of October.
