This pub near the Castle, with a circular exterior recently had a refurbishment which has seen the cask ale offering increase. Up to four changing beers served, mainly from local breweries, plus Brains Rev James. There is a large ground floor bar area with distinct seating bays and a further large seating area upstairs. Parts of these can be reserved for functions. There is an outdoor seating area at the front of the pub where one can watch the world go by. Many TVs show the latest sporting action and it gets particularly busy in here when Wales are playing.
