See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

This pub with it's traditional name is now well established back at the heart of village life after a couple of prolonged periods of closure punctuated by a not so successful reopening, when it was bizarrely renamed "Llanfynydd Lodge". It's a little off the beaten track, but well worth a visit. Most of the clientele are drawn from local village residents or from the extensive surrounding agricultural community. The Pantglas timeshare is nearby, and good value bed & breakfast accommodation is offered in house. The main bar to the left of the front door is in the oldest part of the much extended building and has a warm, welcoming ambiance.
