Reopened after a period where it looked a lost cause, and now selling two cask ales and a selection of local Craft (aka keg) beers. The interior was refreshed but otherwise largely unchanged, but a welcome addition to Newport's cask ale venues. This historic pub still retains it's friendly, welcoming character, and is well worth a visit.
