See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

Reputedly the oldest pub in Gower (a history board in the rear pub entrance states it was built in 1460). The original (front) part of the building boasts the two bars, with a beamed ceiling and early stonework and several nooks and small seating areas. This is tastefully decorated in a contemporary fashion, with lots of historic pictures of the local area displayed throughout. Whilst upstairs to the rear, is a large and airy open plan eating area/function room, which leads to the large car park and outside seating and children's play areas. The beer range usually includes 2 or 3 real ales, which is extended to the full four handpumps during weekends and holiday periods. A quiz is held on Mondays.

The pub has recently won awards for its many local community support activities, which include being a "warm hub" and hosting regular coffee & chat mornings & afternoons. These activities are listed on its noticeboards and on facebook.
