The name "Rake and Riddle" refers to tools used in the local cockle fishing industry. Popular for its food, due to a steep hillside behind the building, the layout initially appears to be upside down! The restaurant and a small bar are on the ground floor and the main sports bar, a small games room and pizzeria are upstairs. The upstairs bar and garden terrace can be accessed directly from the car park at the rear. The décor is simple and modern throughout. Real Ales are usually from the nearby Gower Brewery with occasional guest beers at busier times.
