A large sports bar popular with locals and students. Its name is a reference to its location being very close to the city’s Crown Court & Guildhall. It is approached by a large flight of steps, with disabled lift access to the right. The pub has one large airy room, with the bar on the right-hand side and several seating combinations. There are lots of TV screens throughout the room showing sports. The front outside seating area is well used in summer, with a covered smoking area. Live music is staged on Saturday nights.
