An independently owned, small and friendly pub. They have up to four real ales (depending on the season) plus six craft beers and one real cider, all sourced from a variety of Welsh and independent breweries and listed on a large blackboard facing the entrance. Although the frontage appears to be narrow from the outside, there is a second room located behind the front room, which has a long bar with a lovely driftwood style top and a mural on its front. Both rooms are decorated in a modern light scheme, often including a range of paintings from local artists. Outside seating is available in a park area across the road, in and around a large Gazebo tent.
