This typical Welsh village inn has featured in the Guide for many years. It has been owned by the same family for over 40 years and has a traditional public bar, games room and a lovely old stone-walled lounge. The licensee began brewing on-site in 2014 and after a period where brewing was suspended has restarted brewing in 2026. Sport is often on the TV in this rugby lovers' pub. Staff and locals are most welcoming to visitors. Closed Tuesday.
