Friendly, family run, historic pub in the centre of the city, that specialises on being a live music rock bar on weekends. Dating from the era of post-World War Two rebuilding, it was deliberately hidden amongst a row of shops on one of the city centres main roads. There are three entrances, the main one being on the Kingsway (look for the black mural frontage and marquee canopy!) and two, at the rear, from a small council car park set within Swansea’s main shopping area. It has a single large open plan room served by a C-shaped bar, with a permanent stage and a pool table in separate alcoves. The food on offer is various Pizzas, and whilst there are no set food times they are usually available most times. No Cask ale on tap, but some bottled ales are available (some may be RAIB). At the time of the last visit (April 2026) the pub landlords were looking to install some cask lines.
